Born and raised on the Central Coast, Jonas earned his undergraduate B.A. degree in International Business with a minor in Economics from California Polytechnic State University followed by a Juris Doctorate from Santa Barbara College of Law. After gaining valuable experience at a longstanding law firm located on the Central Coast, Mr. Bailey opened the Bailey Law Firm, APC in 2015.

Born and raised on the Central Coast, Jamie earned her Bachelor Degree of Science from the San Francisco State University’s College of Business. Jamie went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from the Golden Gate University School of Law.

After joining the California State Bar in 2015, Jamie moved back to the North County on the Central Coast, the place she proudly calls her home. Jamie began her legal career working for a boutique land use firm serving the environmental public interest community throughout California. Jamie focused in land use and planning litigation including writs of mandamus, CEQA and appellate advocacy. Since joining The Bailey Law Firm, Jamie has expanded her expertise to matters including: Trust and Probate Estate litigation, elder abuse litigation, employment disputes, and business litigation matters. Whether your legal question is as quick as a phone call, or as in-depth as a commitment through trial, Jamie looks forward to meeting each new client with the same enthusiasm and passion for service and advocacy.

In Jamie’s free time she enjoys remodeling homes with her husband, and spending time with her daughter and two rambunctious dogs.

Matthew K. Brown focuses on business, real estate, and insurance coverage litigation. Matt represents clients in state and federal courts in complex business and commercial litigation matters, including partnership/shareholder disputes, business tort claims, insurance coverage actions, trust and probate litigation, and construction litigation. He handles a broad range of real estate matters, including mortgage and foreclosure litigation, deficiency judgment proceedings, title insurance claims, and unlawful detainer actions. Matt also has experience with class action litigation.

Matt is a member of the California Bar Association and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. He is a former member of the Brigham Young University Moot Court Team, and served as a student coach for the Brigham Young University Jessup International Moot Court Team. Matt received the Brigham Young University Distinguished Clinical Practice Award in 2005, and he was awarded an academic scholarship from 2002 through 2005.

Before working with the Bailey Law Firm, Mr. Brown was a senior associate at Payne & Fears LLP. He previously served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Delissa A. Ridgway of the U.S. Court of International Trade in New York.

With 6 years of experience in a professional office administrative position, Janelle skillfully manages administrative duties and client relations. Janelle provides support to the lawyers in fulfilling their ongoing professional development, training workshops, and seminar presentations.Janelle has previously worked as a teacher and is actively raising a family.

Born and raised on the Central Coast, Brittney earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Barbara College of Law, and is a licensed notary. Brittney has over a decade of experience working as a paralegal for law firms on the Central Coast and has a knack for positive and effective communication with our clients and is empathetic to our clients’ needs.

In Brittney’s free time, she enjoys watching live music locally, and spending her time outdoors with her partner.

Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Supports the attorneys and paralegal through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.

Originally from the Sacramento area, Megan is currently working on her B.A. in political science with a minor in environmental sustainability at Cal Poly. Though certainly a fresh face to the legal world, she has had notable legal and political experience, including interning for local nonprofit Stand Strong and for U.S. Senator Kamala Harris’s office. She is also the current treasurer for the Cal Poly chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, international pre-law fraternity.

With four years of customer service experience, Megan is always looking to ensure that our clients are satisfied and in-the-know.

In her free time, Megan enjoys finding new hammocking spots around the SLO area, binge watching TV shows on Hulu, and embroidering.

Professionally, John worked thirty (30) years in corporate management at NBC Television in New York City, Philadelphia and, most recently, Burbank, California. Before retiring, he was Director of West Coast Sourcing for the television studio productions; leading and managing a staff responsible for negotiating procurement contracts valued at $100 million on an annual basis for the purchase, lease and rental of all products and services needed for the production of television shows.

Post retirement, he has acted as a consultant to a number of local business entrepreneurs to ensure that their organizations remain healthy as well as profitable. Currently, he works with The Bailey Law Firm assisting with strategic business issues and negotiations.

John graduated from the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in Psychology and earned a Masters in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona.
